Ambassadors

Here are Knitting is Metal we are all about community. We recognize that there are many lovers of our brand and we want to partner with you. This isn't just about promoting the brand, it's about sharing feedback and lifting up other creatives in the maker community. Let's do big things together 🤘🏻

Our current Ambassadors are:

Megan (@woolandthenight) has been knitting for over 30 years and is here to make fiber arts cool! She is a major wool nerd and has a strong gothy aesthetic so yes, knits with a lot of black yarn! When not knitting or spinning they can be found engaging in other crafty pursuits (beading, cross stitch) or hanging out with their human, furry, and scaly family members!

Nicole (@witchin_kniting_mama): Hail and welcome! I'm Nicole. I've been knitting for about 7 years and I've been a lover of the goth and alternative lifestyles since high-school. I love bringing my own dark twist to popular patterns and designs. You never know what you'll see next!

April (@atroposknits): I’ve been an admirer of the dark, gothic, and mysterious for as long as I can remember, so I was delighted to discover Knitting is Metal after learning to knit years ago. I’m a reader, copyeditor, cat mom, and craft collector. In addition to knitting, I handspin yarn, crochet, weave, cross stitch, paint, and bead.

Ruby (@Rubyvonvaknitty): I’m Ruby! I’ve been knitting since the age of 8, taught by my grandmother. My favorite yarn to knit with  is hand dyed, speckled fingering weight. I love to knit cardigans and shawls. Im also a prosthetic artist, published model and retired burlesque performer.  I love sewing, Disney, bats, collecting tattoos and a good cup of coffee! I enjoy traveling and finding local yarn stores wherever I go!

Phoenix (@Craftedbythefates): Hi hello I am Phoenix, I consider myself to be a full-time jester of the crown, part-time feral fiber artist based out of central Pennsylvania. I rather enjoy bringing a certain level of unhinged chaos wherever I go in life which seems to translate very well in my crafty endeavors from knitting to crochet, to spooky cool mildly geeky artwork. I keep my crafting like I keep my brain, incredibly wild and unhinged, never sticking to one singular concept.

Ellie (@dyedinthewoolyarns): Ellie (She/Her) is a knitter, crocheter and indie yarn dyer based in south east england. She runs Dyed In The Wool Yarns (@dyedinthewoolyarns on Instagram) and lives with her dog Bean. She loves punk and metal music, long dog walks, and 90s sci fi.

Amie (@happylittleyarn): Hey there! I’m Amie a lover of all things cozy, colorful, and crafty! 🎨✨ I’m on a mission to spread joy through knitting, one stitch at a time. When I'm not knitting, you’ll probably find me sewing. Let’s dive into the world of creativity together — it’s going to be a wild, woolly ride!
